Massage Therapy


Massage Therapy is currently not offered at this time


This course of study is a full 650 clock hour Massage Therapy course. Your schedule will be a full-time day session, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM.


The Aveda Institute uses both the Aveda and Beck curriculums, which include information on:

  • Anatomy & Physiology
  • Kinesiology, Pathology
  • Contraindication Benefits & Effects
  • Client Assessment
  • Treatment Planning
  • History of Massage
  • Ethics, Boundaries, Laws, and Regulations
  • Professional Guidelines & Business Practice
  • Practical Massage
  • Body Mechanics
  • Student Clinic Training


In addition to the above listed chapters, students will experience a series of Career Development classes and opportunities to learn from guest speakers. Massage is not yet licensed in Vermont. Our Massage Therapy course covers units in both practical and theory application.
