Our Story

The O'Brien family has been shaping Vermont's beauty industry for over 60 years. Since the 1950s, we've trained thousands of cosmetologists who've built successful careers as hairstylists, salon owners, instructors, and beauty industry leaders. In 2009, we proudly partnered with Aveda, combining our family legacy with Aveda's renowned curriculum and holistic approach to beauty and wellness.
